FAQ HOTEL FÅRUP

HAVE YOU NOT RECEIVED YOUR CONFIRMATION?

If you have not received your confirmation by e-mail within two hours, please check that it has not arrived in your junk/spam mail. If you cannot find it there, then all you need to do is contact our booking department by calling +45 96 73 92 07 and we will assist you.  

 

CAN I BOOK ACCOMMODATION WITHOUT TICKETS? I HAVE FREE TICKETS OR A SEASON TICKET

You can only book accommodation at Hotel Fårup without tickets, if you already have season tickets. When booking accommodation with season tickets please contact our booking department at tel .: +45 96 73 92 07.

Accommodation at Hotel Fårup can not be combined with other types of tickets than those sold via the hotel.

 

ENTRY DURING YOUR STAY

When you stay overnight at Hotel Fårup, free entry to Fårup Sommerland is automatically included. This means that when you spend 1 night at the hotel you have free access to Fårup Sommerland on both your arrival and departure days.

On your arrival day, you are very welcome to use the park from 10.00 am, and on your departure day you can use it right up until it closes. If you stay at the hotel for 2 nights, three days full entry access is included in the price of your stay.

Stays with season tickets can be booked via the website.

 

TEMPORARY CANCELLATION TERMS AND CONDITIONS DURING COVID-19/CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC

You have the option of cancelling or moving your stay as long as you do this at least 8 days before your arrival date. If you choose to

  • cancel your stay, you will be refunded the full amount on the card you paid with
  • transfer the amount paid to a gift card that we will send to the email address you provided
  • move your stay to a less expensive period, you will be refunded the difference. If you move your stay to a more expensive period, you will pay the difference to make it up to the new price

The adjusted terms and conditions apply to all bookings up to and including October 2021.

 

CANCELLATION WITHOUT CANCELLATION PROTECTION

On cancellation more than 30 days before arrival, the entire package price will be refunded minus a deduction of a DKK 300 administration fee.

On cancellation between 30 and 8 days before arrival, 50% of the package price will be refunded minus a deduction of a DKK 300 administration fee.

On cancellation less than 8 days before arrival, no refund will be granted.

 

CANCELLATION WITH CANCELLATION PROTECTION

Provided that cancellation protection, equal to 5% of the accommodation cost, was ordered during booking, the protection will take effect in the event of acute illness, accident or death, affecting the person who booked the stay, their spouse, children, parents or siblings.

The entire accommodation cost will be refunded.

 

WHAT ARE THE CKECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT TIMES?

Check-in at Hotel Fårup is from 14.00 p.m. on the day of arrival. You are welcome to the park from 10 a.m. when Fårup Sommerland opens. Luggage can be stored at the hotel.

Check-out from the hotel is 10.00 a.m. at the latest on the day of departure. Luggage can be stored at the hotel.

 

IS LUGGAGE STORAGE A POSSIBILITY?

Yes, you have the possibility of storing your luggage in a locked luggage room. If you want to make use of this, please contact our Reception.

 

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE HOTEL?

Parking at Hotel Fårup is free of charge, as is the case for the park. At the hotel there is also the possibility that you can charge electric cars.

 

ARE HANDICAP-FRIENDLY ROOMS AVAILAVLE AT HOTEL FÅRUP?

Yes, there are handicap-friendly rooms at the hotel. If you want to book a handicapfriendly room, please call our booking department on telephone +45 96 73 92 07.

Hotel Fårup is easily accessible for wheelchair users. There are elevators to first floor as well as easy access to and from the parking area and to the park. You can find all relevant information regarding special conditions for the disabled here.

 

CAN I BOOK AN ALLERGY-FRIENDLY ROOM AT HOTEL FÅRUP?

Yes, you have the possibility of booking an allergy-friendly room at Hotel Fårup. With an allergy-friendly room we ensure a allergy-friendly cleaning as well as allergy-friendly duvets and pillows. You will be charged DKK 350 per stay. If you require an allergy-friendly room, you only need to contact our booking department by calling +45 96 73 92 07.

 

CAN I BORROW A WEEKEND BED?

When you book for children from 0-2 years, we automatically put a weekend bed and a changing table into your room. You can book a weekend bed when you book the room. This service is free.

 

WHEN IS THE PARK OPEN?

You can see the park's opening hours by clicking here. Please note that the park may be closed on some of the hotel's opening days.

 

MAY WE BRING ALONG OUR DOG TO HOTEL FÅRUP AND WHAT DOES THIS COST?

Your dog is more than welcome at Hotel Fårup. It only costs DKK 250 for a cleaning charge per stay. There are water bowl at both entrances to the hotel and around the hotel you will find dogs bags for dog droppings. Dogs are allowed to be alone in the room - but we prefer that it is in the park during the day. It is not allowed to leave the dog alone in the car. We kindly ask you to leave a mobile number in the reception, so we can contact you if necessary. If your dog is in the room when there is cleaning, the room is not cleaned.  

Your dog is not allowed in the restaurant areas in the hotel or in our Aqua Park.  

 

IS SMOOKING ALLOWED AT THE HOTEL?

Hotel Fårup is a non-smoking hotel. The hotel has one smoking zone where smoking is allowed. The smoking regulations also apply to the use of e-cigarettes which is also only allowed in the smoking zone. It is not allowed to smoke on balconies / terraces belonging to the rooms.

  

FAMILY ROOMS WITH CONNECTING DOOR

At Hotel Fårup, you have the possibility to book family rooms with connecting doors. These rooms are suitable for families that would like more room during their stay. Also you have the possibility to rent two standard rooms that are connected by a door, which provide considerably more space. If you wish a family rooms with a connecting door, please just contact our booking department by calling +45 96 73 92 07.

 

CAN WE HAVE LUNCH ON HOTEL FÅRUP?

Yes, at Hotel Fårup we offer lunch every day from 12 pm – 3 pm in our own restaurant with a wide selection of courses – served to satisfy both children and adults.

 

CAN WE HAVE DINNER AT HOTEL FÅRUP?

Yes, every night Hotel Fårup serves a dinner-buffet in our restaurant. The price is 199 DKK for adults and 99 DKK for children in the age of 3-11. Children aged 0-2 can eat for free. 

 

WHICH FACILITIES ARE THERE AT HOTEL FÅRUP? 

At Hotel Fårup we have an indoor playroom primarily to children aged 3-9. Furthermore, the entire family can enjoy one of our many board games in the Hotel lounge. Outdoor you can play on our playground, jump on our trampolines or use the soccer pitch to find the family-champion. You can borrow a football in the Hotel’s reception.

 

WHAT FACILITIES ARE AVAILABLE FOR CHILDREN AGED 0-2 YEARS?

When we can see that children between 0-2 years are part of the group, a cot and changing table will always be provided in the room on your arrival at no extra charge. It is possible to buy pacifiers, wet wipes, baby bottles, bibs and swim pants in Reception. It is also possible to borrow a baby alarm or a bathtub for your little ones.

 

WHICH FACILITIES DOES THE ROOMS HAVE?

All family rooms include one double bed and a bunk bed suited for two persons. Our suites have divided bedrooms intended as parents’ and children’s sections - with one double bed and two single beds. Furthermore, we can make one or two extra beds after query. The rooms also include a safety box, a television with 19 channels included and a hairdryer. Unfortunately, we only offer refrigerators  in our suites. 

 

CAN WE KEEP OUR ROOM LONGER ON THE DAY OF DEPARTURE?

Yes, in some cases you can prolong your stay against a fee on 100 DKK per started hour after 10 am. The arrangement must be made the day before departure.

 

CAN WE USE FÅRUP SOMMERLAND AFTER THE AMUSEMENT PARKS OPENING HOURS?

Due to security reasons, you cannot use the amusement park after hours.

 

CAN YOU ENYOU FÅRUP SOMMERLAND AFTER CLOSING TIME?

After the park closes it is possible to go for a stroll around part of the park. You can stroll in the area from the hotel down to the Egerntårnet (Squirrel Tower), where you will encounter a closed gate. Besides going for a stroll, you can also have a game of mini-golf or take a trip in the pedal boats around GolfØen (Golf Island). Furthermore, the hotel’s Bålhytte (Bonfire Hut) is also open in the evening where you can get cosy around the bonfire. However, Bålhytten may be reserved for private events and may be closed.  

 

BIRTHDAY PACKAGE

Make a little more out of your child’s birthday at Hotel Fårup with a birthday package. We will decorate your room for his birthday, serve children’s champagne, candy and a birthday cake in the room, and a nice gift from Fårup Sommerland is included as well. The price is an additional charge for the room. The package will be in the room on arrival.

 

CAN I GET MY LAUNDRY WASHED?

You can get your laundry washed and dried during your stay against a fee for 75 DKK per part. Address the Hotel’s reception if you would like to use the laundry service.

 

CAN I PAY WITH FOREIGN CASH ON HOTEL FÅRUP?

At Hotel Fårup we take the following foreign notes: Euro, NOK and SEK. If you need to withdraw cash, you can do so in the Information in Fårup Sommerland.

 

CAN I RENT TOWELS TO USE IN THE AQUA PARK?

Yes, at Hotel Fårup we offer a rent of a towel package at the price of 35 DKK. (2 towels) 

 

WHICH FACILITIES ARE THERE ON HOTEL FÅRUP FOR INFANTS?

When you book for a child in the age between 0-2, we will put a cot and a changing table in the room without extra expense – and it will be ready, when you arrive. Furthermore, you can buy dummies, baby bottle and baby porridge. We also rent out baby monitors and baby bathtubs in the Hotel reception. 

 

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS

You have the option of adding special requirements under the comment field when you book your accommodation at the hotel, such as "we would like to stay on the first floor" or "we would like to have a room next to xx during our stay".  We will do everything we can to accommodate your wishes. However, we do not have the possibility of guaranteeing them.
